One of the most overlooked aspects of event planning relates to the question of "who will be the host, make the introductions, announcements, and facilitate the party?" Our MC service provides the answer to that looming question. Our MCs are well-versed in hosting all types of events such as comedic performances, corporate events, and fundraisers. We feature some of the DMVs most articulate and entertaining personalities who will ensure your event runs smooth and your needs are addressed.

Our MCs

Elaine Espinola

Elaine Espinola is a multimedia broadcast professional. She is a television producer and host, speaker, spokesperson and international best selling author. In 2015 Elaine was the reining Mrs. DC America and continues to promote the platform 'Empowerment for Women through Entrepreneurship’ advocating on behalf of small businesses and for the empowerment and women and girls everywhere. 


Elaine is the producer and host of the lifestyle television show, Capital Connect, which features local experts in and around our nation's capital on a variety of trending topics, with an emphasis on social causes and the non-profit community. As the national podcast host for the Better Business Bureau on a channel called The Bistro, Elaine interviews elite entrepreneurs and organizational founders on the latest trending business and consumer topics. 


Elaine is a spokesperson for the Northern Virginia Human Trafficking Initiative and an Advisory Board Member for the non-profit, Touching Heart, which teaches children the joy of giving.


A frequent host, emcee and mistress of ceremony to events around the DMV,  if you don't catch her on television shows and commercials, you just might see her out and about!

John Schreiner

A native of Northern Virginia, John Schreiner embodies the values that Xen Live is founded on: excellence, intelligence, and dedication. Schreiner’s background in music is diverse and storied. His achievements in the field include numerous first place finishes in regional and national music competitions, both as singer and songwriter, an earned degree in Vocal Music Performance from the famed Lee University School of Music (Cleveland, TN), as well as thousands of acclaimed performances within the continental United States, The United Kingdom, France, Mexico, Canada, and the British Virgin Islands, among many other international destinations.


John remains one of the most sought after performers, producers, MCs, and songwriters in the greater Washington D.C. area, and since 2017, has brought his wealth of industry knowledge and professional resources to Xen Live, along with a vast network of friends and fellow performers to the XL roster, representing the very best the DMV has to offer in multiple disciplines.

Jarreau Williams

Jarreau Williams is a professional actor, vocalist, recording artist, songwriter, and entertainer. The Alexandria, VA native has performed in various stage, film, commercial, industrial, voiceover, and television projects including HBO's "VEEP", "Nightmare Next Door" on Investigation Discovery, "Shear Madness" at The Kennedy Center, "The ABCs of Online Dating", and the NYC based webseries "First Dates". His acting adventures have taken him to New York, Baltimore, Philadelphia, and other regional cities. Jarreau is also a proud member of Actor's Equity Association (AEA) since 2012.Jarreau's musical talents have led to him performing with 4-time Grammy award winner Michael Buble and singing for President Barack Obama and the First Family during an MLK church celebration. Williams released his debut single, Show Me, in 2014. His debut EP "The Golden Age", released in 2016, reached #2 on the New Releases/R&B Soul iTunes charts. In 2017, Williams released two more singles "The Way I Feel" and "Move On". You can find Jarreau's music on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon, and other major music markets!
